Half Dozen Cariboo Cougars Called to All Star Game
Prince George, B.C. — A total of six Cariboo Cougars will play in the 2013 BCMML All Star Game. Forwards Liam Blackburn, Braiden Epp, and Ryan Forbes join defencemen Nick Headrick and Stephen Penner along with goaltender Nathan Warren who has been named an All Star for the second year in a row.
The six represent the Cougars among the 42 total players named to the game which will take place Friday, January 18th at 7:00pm at the Langley Events Centre. The game is the centrepiece for the BCMML’s second showcase weekend where the Cougars will face the Greater Vancouver Canadians.
Along with the Vancouver NorthWest Giants, the Okanagan Rockets, and the Canadians, the Cougars have the most representatives at the All Star Game matching last year’s total of six.
