I have a vision of Christmas
a vision so true.
a
And a feeling of strengths
of weaknesses too.
with the sounds of carols
ring through the air.
The gathering of loved ones
and stories to share.
The family all gather
on Christmas day.
Grown ups with laughter
while the children all play.
With this vision of Christmas
And a feeling so true.
I`ll be a child forever
on this Christmas for you.
I love you mother and Father
Unfortunately the rampant commercialization of Christmas likely had a role in the survey results. In addition I think the attempts to assure that Merry Christmas becomes “happy holidays” or whatever else you called it so as not to “offend” anyone has taken it’s toll as well and reflects in the survey numbers.
For me….of course my family and I love the glitter of the tree, the presents, the family gatherings and the merriment of the season…..but most of all, we love the real reason for Christmas….
We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
And Ben, to you and yours I thank you for offering us that simple phrase… Merry Christmas”…and I hope your family all enjoy all the blessings that Christmas can bring.
Merry Christmas, everyone :) Let’s all enjoy the day and give Thanks for what we have and give rememberance to those gone before us.

Yes; Dump Santa and embrace Jesus Christ.
Best of the season to all.
I agree with Gimmeabreak. We gave the gift of time and eats with good friends and family. Merry Christmas everyone.
