2012 appears set to close out with sunshine on Monday and welcome in the new year on Tuesday – daytime highs will be -8 and -10, respectively.
Yesterday’s high was -2. Record values for December 29th include a high of 7.5 degrees in 1980 and a bone-chilling low of -41.3 in 1984. As for snowfall, city residents were digging out from 22.4cm in 1964.
