Prince George, BC –  Whether a birder or not, it’s difficult to tear your eyes away from the majestic sight of this pair of eagles captured recently by our photographer here at 250News…

Over the past month, he’s stopped into Cottonwood Park almost daily to capture some stunning photos of the numerous birds – of all different feathers – that flock to the park to check out the trees and nibble on seeds left on stumps.

From grosbeaks, to a chickadee wearing a band, to the pair of eagles that nest in the park, please click on the photo at right for a slideshow that we hope will start off the new year on a dazzling note.

Beautiful pictures. Thank you. It made my morning.

Very lucky to get two eagles in the same picture in these parts, especially this time of year when most have taken flight to the coast.

Eagle…one just has to go to the park, no luck involved. I have been walking there for 20 years. Cottonwood Park is part of an all season territory for 2 eagles and many other wonderful creatures.
Eagles have always been there, to my delight
