‘Fun Day’ for Interclub and Level One Competitive boys at the PG Gymnastics Club yesterday

Prince George, BC – There has been no break for kids in the competitive programs at the Prince George Gymnastics Club over the holidays, although their schedules were altered slightly over the past two weeks.

Coach Colleen Kaminski’s boys ended the two weeks with a ‘fun day’ that included making their way through an obstacle course, with dives, rolls, and a jump in the sponge pit.

The second session of the club’s 2012-2013 gymnastic’s season begins in February.  Early registration for children who were registered in the fall session begins on Monday, with registration opening up to those not currently in classes on January 28th.

The first local meet for competitive gymnastics is the Ice Breaker on February 2nd.  The region’s Zone 8 Championships are hosted by Quesnel the following weekend.  And Prince George will host the BC Provincial Championships on April 6th and 7th.
