Dutchman Restaurant Destroyed By Fire In Anahim Lake

Anahim Lake- the Dutchman restaurant a well known spot in the community of Anahim Lake west of Williams Lake has been destroyed by fire.
The fire broke out at 3.10 yesterday in the tiny community. The building was closed and no one was inside. As Anahim does not have a fire department they requested assistance from the Ulkatcho band who own a pumper truck in the community.
Local residents were able save some of the owners valuables including some sentimental items.
The investigation is still on going but police do not believe the fire was suspicious.
