RCMP Ask for Public’s Help in Double Murder Investigation

Vanderhoof, B.C.- RCMP are hoping the public can help them  in the investigation of a double murder in Vanderhoof.

On Sunday  January 13th  the bodies of  40 year old Tara Lee Ann Williams and  29 year old Blaine Albert Barfoot were discovered in a mobile home on Silvermill Road, in the the east end of Vanderhoof.

Both victims were known to  local police  who say the two lived a high risk lifestyle.

"As part of the investigation, the police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying anyone who may have a recent injury to their arms or hands" says  Cst. Lesley Smith, North District Media Relations Officer "We believe the injury may have occurred during this incident and are asking anyone with information to please call the RCMP."
