Prince George, B.C.-   There is no word yet on the identity of the male semi driver who died in yesterday’s  horrific crash near “Microwave Hill” on Highway 97   about 10 kms north of Hixon.

Regional Coroner Donita Kuzma says  the crash victim’s name will likely be released to the public tomorrow.

RCMP investigators have yet to say if charges will be recommended against the driver of the other semi that was involved in this crash.

Three drivers were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries, and the highway was closed for several hours as   crash re-constructionists  examined the scene, followed by crews clearing the extensive debris field.

Road conditions throughout the north are expected to deteriorate today as a heavy snowfall warning is in effect from the Cariboo region up through the Peace .
