Prince George, B .C.- Local Biathlete, Sarah Beaudry, has finished 5th in the "individual" event at the biathlon youth world championships in Austria. The individual event is the longest of all of the events this week. Sarah had a great performance with only 2 misses out of 20 shots.
The top six finishers are invited to the “flower ceremony”, and Sarah is pictured, above, the second from the right. Her Prince George team mates taking part in this international event are Emily Dickson who finished 54th and Arthur Roots who finished 86th. This was the first international event for both of these athletes and they performed very well.
All three of these local athletes are eligible for the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George.
