Charge Laid, Name Released in Fatal Weekend Crash

Prince George, B.C. – The woman who died in Saturday’s single vehicle crash on Pacific Street, in the BCR site, has been identified as 51 year old Lavinia Pearl Harrison.
A charge has now been laid against the driver of the stolen vehicle that crashed on Pacific.
Kelly James Grainger, a 42 year old Prince George resident, has now being charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death and has been remanded in custody by a Judicial Justice of the Peace. Grainger is known to police.
The police file is now in the hands of Provincial Crown Counsel for consideration of additional charges.
The investigation is continuing in partnership with the BC Coroners Service.
