Break In At Tabor Ski Hill

Prince George, B.C.- Someone broke into the Tabor Ski Hill Resort overnight and made off with a bundle of goodies.
 
Prince George RCMP say the culprit(s) gained entry by smashing glass doors to the business. They made off with a flat screen TV, some ski equipment, three cash tills, and a quantity of cash.   Police say numerous Canadian $2 bills were stolen.
 
Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating the person or persons responsible. (English only), or Text-A-Tip to CRIMES (274637) using keyword "pgtips".

$2 bills? I wonder if the thieves are dumb enough to use them? Let’s hope so!

Best valuation on the iternet is if they were printed in 1953 or earlier, depending on condition .. the 1953 series might fetch $2.50 …. otherwise they are apparently face value.

I doubt anyone will track $2 bills unless they are very old, rare ones and in mint condition.

The media elsewhere is saying to watch out for people passing $2 bills. I’d surmise that means the RCMP are hoping for the same.
