Charges Laid In New Year’s Home Invasion

Prince George RCMP say a 27-year-old man was transported to hospital at that time, suffering from apparent knife wounds, after he was attacked in a residence on the 17-hundred block of Tamarack Street.
Now charged in connection with the incident are 29-year-old Allan Troy Baker. Baker is facing numerous charges, including aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and use of a firearm during the commission of an indictable offence. He’s in custody until his next court appearance scheduled for later today.
47-year-old Verna Anne Carpenter and 25-year-old Alisha Michelle Penner are each facing charges of unlawful confinement and assault with a weapon in connection with the incident. They’re both scheduled to appear in court later this month.
