Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP believe a home invasion on Gillett Street early Sunday morning was a targeted attack.
Shortly before 5:30 a.m. Sunday police received a report of an apparent home invasion at a residence in the 200 block of Gillett Street. They found an uninjured female victim in the house as well as a male victim suffering from a minor injury to his foot.
Investigators say two males brandishing weapons forcibly entered the residence and demanded money from the occupants. The suspects then fled on foot with a small amount of cash.
One suspect was described as being 5’7" tall, with blonde hair and a "baby face". He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
The second suspect was wearing all black clothing and a black mask.
It is believed that this was a targeted attack and that the public is not at risk. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call the RCMP.
