Prince George, BC – Books and music…
It will be hard to beat the library for a soothing Saturday…
In addition to finding a good read, the Bob Harkins branch of the Prince George Public Library will be the site of a free 30-minute concert featuring the Cantata singers later today.
The adult mixed-voice choir is renowned locally for its musical variety – from classical to pops – and will enchant library goers between 2pm and 2:30pm.
Next weekend, the singers perform Mozart’s Requiem in conjunction with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, the Richmond Chorus Association, and guest soloists. Mozart’s finale also puts a wrap on the PGSO’s concert season. The concert is set for 7:30pm, next Saturday, March 16th, at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
