Prince George, BC –  Highway 16 West remains closed at Vanderhoof due to a vehicle incident that occurred earlier this morning.

RCMP are on-scene, but no details are available.

A detour is in effect for motorists travelling through the community, via Second Street.

Ministry of Transportation officials estimate the highway will re-open at 11am.
