Prince George, BC – Details of a crash on Highway 16 in Vanderhoof remain sparse, but the accident apparently occurred right in the community.

RCMP will say there were no fatalities, further details are expected to be released shortly.

The accident is believed to have occurred sometime around 6am this morning.  Highway 16 has been closed at the site, but a detour via 2nd Street is available.

Ministry of Transportation officials expect the route to re-open at approximately 3pm.
