Motorists Take Note, Kids At Play

Prince George, B.C. – Today marks the first official day of spring break for students in School District 57.
At the close of classes Friday the students kicked off sixteen days of down time. Spring break runs until March 29th, and classes resume on Monday, April 1st. That is Easter Monday, but that “bank holiday” for staff was moved to Thursday, March 28th this year so that “fewer instructional days are missed by having a two-week spring break with Easter Monday incorporated into that two-week period”, according to District Assistant Superintendent Lisa Carson.
Just a reminder to motorists to keep an eye out for youngsters near roadways over the next two weeks.
