Police Seek Help in Locating Suspect

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George are looking for a Caucasian male in his 50’s who is a prime suspect in a robbery.
Police say around 9:30 last night, they were called to a hotel in the 6th and Quebec Street area of the City to investigate a robbery.  
They were advised an adult male attended the front counter of the hotel requesting change. When the female staff member opened the register, the suspect assaulted her and grabbed cash from the register. 
 
Although confronted by another employee and a member of the public, the suspect  got by them, broke a glass door and fled on foot. Attempts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful.
 
The staff member did not require medical treatment, but was shaken up.
 
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect  ( shown in the surveillance photo at right, photo courtesy RCMP)
 
He is described as:
 
·      Caucasian male in his 50’s;
·      Grey hair;
·      Wearing a black hooded sweater, light coloured t-shirt and blue jeans.
 
 
A very distinct black baseball cap  ( bottom right) was left at the scene and seized by police
 
The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
