Name of Crash Victim Released

Prince George, B.C. –  The  person who died in  the two vehicle crash on highway 97  north of Quesnel on Friday has been identified as a young woman from Prince George.

The BC Coroners Service  says  20 year old Leanne Marie Burchill of Prince George was the front seat passenger in a pick up truck  that was involved in a head on collision with another pick up truck  near the turn off to 10 Mile Lake Road on Friday morning.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Leanne Marie Burchill, aged 20, of Prince George.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
