Prince George, B.C. – Spring officially arrived in Prince George just moments ago.
While nothing says "Spring" like pussy willows, it will be a week or two before we see any in this area.
There is still plenty of snow to melt, and the temperatures will need to rise some, but winter is officially over.

A week or two? how about a month or two? lol
Spring?
The snow here is about 4 feet deep and growing.
Winter sucked.
Winter is only 6 months long in this area, so buck up, before you know it the leafs will be turning yellow and red.
What did that groundhog say, perpetual winter ?
I have pussy willows already at my place. Marked on the calendar yesterday that we saw the first Canada geese too. The swans are back also so spring is coming. Jeesh, cheer up!
I had robins last week. None this week, maybe they headed South for a while.
No crocuses were killed during the use of my snowblower yesterday.
