Timely Films Mark World Water Day

Prince George, B.C. – The Sea to Sands Conservation Alliance is sponsoring a number of films as the Travelling World Community Film Festival stops in Prince George.
 
The Sea to Sands Alliance is sponsoring movies about the risks to our water associated with proposed oil pipelines and other industrial projects. The film festival is running at various venues in Prince George until March 24th
 
Today is World Water Day, and the movies being shown tonight are entitled Peace Out and Bidder 70. Peace Out deals with gas fracking, tar sands operations and the proposed Site C mega-dam on the Peace River. Bidder 70 deals with the oil and gas industry.
 
The movies will be shown at St. Michael’s Anglican Church Hall, 1505 5th Avenue, starting at 7pm.
