Prince George, B.C. – A section of downtown Prince George will be off the power grid on Sunday.
BC Hydro says a 5 hour emergency planned power outaage will take place from 5:30 Sunday evening to 10:30 Sunday night.
The outage is necessary to replace a concrete pole that is leaning because of excavation near the Wood Innovation and Design Centre site.
Power will be off to customers in a 4 block section along the north side of 5th Avenue, and South side of 4th Avenue between George Street and Victoria Street.

So who is doing the excavation there?
Rumour has it a small Caucasian fellow dressed in commonflage was seen jumping the fence, getting in an excavator and swinging the boom like a mad man.
Caucasian? Was he from the Caucasus or just a wannabee?
Or maybe he was a Caucasoid? I hear that is an endagered race. ;-)
Very slow Saturday ….. :-(
middle finger , lol
Yes, very slow Saturday, lousy weather, I probably will have time to read one of those filiGUSter’s.
Did I have to say commonwealthflage ? Tough crowd.
Lol middle finger. Where is our conspiracy theorist crowd? Hydro obviously caused this so they can shut down and area and send the extra power south again…
South? I did not realize South Fort George has brown outs.
