Get Set to Sell Junk from Your Trunk

Prince George, B.C.- It is Spring, and while some in the City are able to get out and do yard work, many others are still itching for the snow to go. But, everyone can get into Spring cleaning mode by clearing out the stuff no longer needed or used.
The Regional District of Fraser Fort George is hoping it can help you clear out that “stuff” by offering you an opportunity to take part in the “Junk in the Trunk” sale.
“This is the perfect opportunity to un-clutter your life” says Rachael Ryder, the Waste Diversion Program Leader at the RDFFG. “Your unwanted stuff may be exactly what someone else is looking for. As they say, ‘one person’s trash is another’s treasure’.”
This sale is especially good for those who don’t have a yard to stage their own garage sale. Those who are registered simply sale their goods from the trunk of their vehicle.
The sale is set for this Saturday at the CN Centre parking lot. If you plan on selling goods, you will need to register which will cost $10 to book a “stall”. There is no charge for those looking to buy.
The sale is part of the Earth Day events. It gets underway at 9 a.m. and wraps at 1:00.
To register, or to get more information, contact REAPS at 250 561-7327 or the Regional District at 250 960-4400.

Some of the cities we lived in there was a spring cleanup drive ach spring. Your junk was placed at curbside and the City picked it up free of charge.
Cheers
Would be great if we could do this weekly or monthly in the summer here in PG!
$10.00 to book a stall that I already own.
That’ll happen!
The $10 is going to REAPS, I hope. This is a great idea and it would be nice, like jonnypg said,to have it weekly or monthly.
Are you allowed to sell from a pickup truck instead of a car trunk? If so, I have a complete set of the PG City Council. If not able to sell, I will give them away for free.
