All Clear In Downtown Core

Prince George, BC – Business will be getting back to normal in the city’s downtown core this hour, after RCMP have given the ‘all clear’ following what’s believed to have been a bomb threat involving the TD Canada Trust Bank on Victoria Street.
RCMP say the threat proved to be just that – a threat. Nothing was discovered during a thorough investigation launched earlier this morning.
Police and fire officials arrived on-scene approximately four hours ago and evacuated several businesses in the immediate vicinity of the bank, which sits at the corner of 4th Avenue and Victoria Street.
A one-block perimeter was cordoned off, as well, while RCMP called in Dog Services to assist with the investigation.

Why there? It’s a bank, but why right there?
Just across the street is Bonds election office.
People are just getting fed up with banks and corporations running the country. People can only be pushed so far before they push back. Luckily this was just a threat.
IF you thing this is someone pushing back, you need to change your meds. It’s the work of an idiot with nothing better to do. And “luckily this was just a threat”.
A person who bombs a bank isn’t fed up. He’s a criminal plain and simple and should be locked up.
The reasons will come to light in time with this situation. What appears a threat against one thing is not always what the greater plan maybe. When looking at what you see on the surface, leads you to think one thing, more often than not there are other reasons deeper than what we see in passing. There could be much more to this than we are told at this moment. Wait and watch.
The scary thing is that there are people like But who have sympathy for those who make threats. Find him or her and lock them up.
Saying people are fed up and being sympathetic are 2 different things. Don’t think you can interpret what I say and twist the words how you like. That just shows your holier than thou attitude you have on here, JeeBee.
Your first post sounds pretty sympathetic to me, But. Who’s twisting words now?
