Day 7 – Campaign Continues

Prince George, B.C.- Another busy day on the campaign trail, as Day 7 of the election campaign kicks off in B.C.
If you stayed away from election coverage on the weekend, here is what you missed:
- Liberals accuse NDP of using “shakedown tactics” in attempts to get businesses to make donations to the NDP campaign. NDP deny the claims.
- NDP promise an annual investment of $8 million in agricultural programs to develop local markets and promote stability for BC growers.
- Liberals launch a “spend-o-meter” to keep track of NDP spending plans.
- B.C. Conservatives counter, asking "Where was the Liberal Spend-O-Meter when Christy Clark was racking up $11 Billion of debt during her short term as premier?"
- B.C. Conservatives John Cummins says his party increase government transparency by releasing MLA expenditures and will require receipts for credit card expenses.

The Green party seems to be taking a pretty low profile so far.
I will agree with a sentiment in another thread, a vote for the Conservatives or an independant is essentially a vote for the NDP.
Everytime Christy shows up on my TV screen I am so happy to have a “mute” button on the remote.
