RCMP Operation Closes Neighbourhood

Prince George, B.C. – A Prince George RCMP  operation has closed  several  blocks  in a Prince George neighbourhood and in some cases  forced the evacuation of  some residences.

The area affected by these measures includes Quinn Street to Dezell Drive, and Ogilvie Street to Hammond Avenue. This area also includes Patterson Street and the accompanying alleys. 
 
Police are asking the public and all residents to avoid this area until further notice.
 
Although no details of this operation are available at this time, information will be provided upon its conclusion.

All’s good in the hood.

Sure as heck hope it’s a safe operation.

Check your city map, Summit. The area in question is close to Spruceland, not in the area normally referred to as the hood.

Otherwise its a good neighborhood

I have to laugh about people calling certain places in PG the hood. We live in the (UPPER COLLEGE HEIGHTS) Our vehicles have been broken into 4 times in the last year. I would call all of PG the Hood.
