Very good to see IMHO. This is a nice attraction for the city and for the kids in PG and in the grand scheme of things, it likely costs but a pittance to operate.

There is a tremendous amount of nostalgia associated with steam trains out here and in the Northeastern US and there are numerous tours where you can take rides on them.

Last summer we did a trip up the cog railway on Mount Washington in New Hampshire in a coal fired steam train. I loved the smell of the burning coal as it chugged it’s way up the mountain. Can’t say as I’d want to be the operator though!

Great news. This project has been a great addition to the park for years and it’s important we do our best to keep it maintained and in operation.

I agree. Well worth whatever it costs to keep going. Great addition to the attractions of Prince George as a place to live or visit.

Yes good to see the little steam engine up and running again! It’s a great treasure and enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.

The train is good. Don’t get me wrong. However, one could say that our P.G. budget is , to turn a phrase “on the rails” too.
