I went to the voting both tonight and had a catch-22 moment. On the one hand I could plug my nose and vote, or on the other hand I could cross my finger behind my back and vote… but I couldn’t do both and still vote.
A lot of what I would like to vote on we simply don’t have the choice made available to us and so our input as citizens is restricted and limited (by party collusion) to only a few key choices. For me I am 100% against the carbon tax, but I am also 100% against Northern Gateway… those were about the only two issues that were competitive with choice this election as far as I can tell.

I just listened to A.D.’s speech, one that no doubt was hastily written. I have never voted NDP, and most likely never will, but kudos to you, Mr. Dix, on your classy concession speech.
