Rustad Claims Early Win

Tuesday, May 14, 2013 @ 10:00 PM
Vanderhoof- There was an expectation that John  Rustad would face stiff opposition in the Nechako Lakes riding, but not so. Rustad in the early count was holding at 53.85% of the popular vote putting him well out in front of Susanne Skidmore Hewlett of the NDP .

The results in that rising has resulted in a sea of red in the central and northern BC.

Well done, John. Thanks for being there.

Congratulations John! Hard work wins every time!

Congrats John

John Rustad is an honest, hard-working MLA, who has served the Nechako Lakes riding to the best of his ability.

In days leading up to the provincial election, he had to endure personal insults and ridicule from the Conservative candidate Dan Brooks, who boastfully assured everyone that John would finish the election in third place.

However, if one examines the actual voting results in the Nechako Lakes riding, it’s evident that while Brooks stole 13% of the previous Liberal vote, John captured 6% of the previous NDP vote–a rare accomplishment!

Congratulations John!! People continue to underestimate you, and you continue to prove them wrong.

It is unfortunate that we can not get representation from a person who lives in one of our communities. As Clucluz lake clearly declared during the Vanderhoof pool referendum they do not consider themselves a part of Vanderhoof. Is that not where Rustad resides?

Where have all the Dippers gone?
Long time passing..

Where have all the Dippers gone?
Since Tuesday night…

Where have all the Dippers gone?
Gone into hiding every one…

When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

To the tune of “Where have all the flowers gone”

Of course I had fun with this one
