Ogaswara Thanks Supporters

Tuesday, May 14, 2013 @ 10:22 PM
Prince George, B.C. – Sherry Ogaswara thanked her supporters tonight but held out special thanks to her family saying their sacrifices were incredible.
She said it is just the beginning. "We will keep doing the things that we have been doing , this is just part of the journey."
(at right, Ogasawara  offers congratulations to Liberal Shirley Bond who won the riding)
Ogaswara with 106 of 115 polls heard from, polled 4619 votes compared to Shirley Bonds 7706 in what had been billed as a bell weather riding.

Ogasawara’s  running mate,  Bobby Deepak  also offered thanks to  all who  supported  his run, "We wrked day and night.  It is not the end, it is the beginning" said Deepak.   He told the crowd  "We wanted to bring change to the people of the north". He then offered congratulations to SHirley Bond and Mike Morris, the Liberals who were successful in their bids for the Prince George – Valemount and Prince George-Mackenzie.

I guess she can go home now, where ever that is.

PG actually. Her family has probably been in BC longer than yours. Her grandparents were sent to the internment camps during WW2

She seems like a very nice person!

Sorry, Im 5th generation BC and I am not young. None of my grandparents were in intern camps, both grandfathers fought in WWII.

I wish she had won – she is a clear thinker, has her own opinions and would have been a significant breath of fresh air from Ms. Bond who has not done much other than parrot the party line from whomever tells her what to say…

I was not anxious for Dix to be leader, but Ms. Bond became stale many, many years ago. I would have rather kept Mr. Bell who was at least able to think for himself. For PG, I am disappointed in this result.

Boy it’s going to be hard not to gloat on here today.

Kudos to Ogasawara and Deepak, they had the guts to put their names forward as candidates.
This world would be a sadder place without a selection of candidates from several parties for us to choose from.
metalman.

I was never going to vote for her to begin with, but I found her completely without substance and full of cookie-cutter sentiments when I did hear her speak.
