Prince George, B.C.- RCMP investigators continue to examine the scene in Prince George where human remains were discovered on Monday.
The remains had been there for some time, and were discovered by hikers in the greenbelt area, WSW of where Tyner Boulevard meets the road to the University of Northern B.C.’s bio-energy plant.
Police are not yet able to say if the person had met with foul play, or anything that would lead to an identity of the remains.
It is hoped investigators will be able to offer further information later today.
The Coroners Service is also participating in this investigation.
