There was also a break in at Surplus Herbies, kitty corner from the soup kitchen Sunday am.
Perhaps we could use more police patrols in this area.
Why? Downtown is a waste of time!
Lots of people work downtown and as taxpayers are entitled to the same protection as anyone else.
You cant always pick your place of employment, or where you live for that matter.
Sounds to me that downtown “revitalization” is progressing none to well.
Hopefully, the two men survive.
No soup for you.
Hospital soup instead? Yuk!
Is Surpless Herbies a new store in Downtown?
Thats a dangerous area of town for the immigrants taking night classes at the multicultural center. We have the day paroles, the soup kitchen, and some shady rental units all surrounding the new Immigration and Multicultural Society building. Not the best location for welcoming new immigrants to PG IMO.
It’s really too bad that despite how hard businesses in the downtown work to better their community, crap like this has to be a regular occurence. It happens in every city, but, honestly, I get tired of hearing about it in PG. Nobody deserves this kind of scum, especially people just trying to survive peacefully and the businesses and organizations that care about our people and our city.
