22nd Ave between Ospika and Hwy 97 is perfect!

Croft Road and Cook Crescent are again (!) not on the list! They are apparently of the bare minimum required width for residential access, but too narrow considering that they are a) a BCTransit bus route, b) have no safe sidewalks c) have several sharp right angle turns and d) are potholed and re-patched over and over and rough beyond description, so much so that drivers regularly swerve into the opposing lane to avoid breaking their suspensions.

Best of all, the city is aware of this!

I do not live in PG but I travel there frequently. I guess that if you are a resident of PG you have probably come to accept the fact that bad roads, poor snow removal and poor air quality are just part of the experience of living there. Just about every road in PG is in bad shape and they do not even bother to mark the potholes anymore. This did not happen overnight and previous elected officials and public works managers clearly have not shown much foresight. It is probably too late to fix without a massive rehab program and hefty tax increases.

I notice the city has a new approach to fixing potholes. On Boeing Road east of Boundary they have put pylons in the holes. I guess taking some asphalt out there and fixing the holes is not in the budget!!! Oh well, at least we can see them now.

If only PG roads were as good as cattle trails. Cows would be too embarrassed to travel on PG roads.

If anyone has been up Connaught hill and seen the road up near the top , we should be taking bets as to when it breaks and slides down.

No kidding Saywho; I was up there just last Saturday and driving down It looks like a part of the road it is ready to break off. No doubt city workers are aware of the road’s condition, so what are they going to do? Wait until it does break off?… talk about a dangerous situation!

And guess where else they are fixing our streets? The end of Massey Drive from Foot to the Gintre meadow. And thats for the dog owners to take their pets for a crap among a yellow field of dandelions,
Cheers

how about the road in front of Denny’s and the Sandman….I think it’s turning to gravel….maybe that’s why it’s not on the re-pave list…..LOL

Retired 02:
Can’t you see what they are doing ? The big asphalt grinder was on Winnipeg St today and it looks like the grindings are being spread on the west end of Massey. If it keeps the dust down around there it will be greatly appreciated.

Now if they would only fix the traffic lights at 5th and Tabor, Massey and Westwood, 15th and Ospika, Ferry and Recreational Place, 18th and Ospika and 17th and Queensway, to work properly at night, they might nbe doing something.
I am glad to see what they are doing but oh, there is so much more!

Give…..do you mean after midnight? Many of the lights in the city are programmed to turn to 4 way stops through the middle of the night hours. There is nothing broken about them.
