Prince George, B.C. – The Canada North Resources Expo is underway today and tomorrow at the CN Centre.
With more than four acres of indoor and outdoor exhibits representing more than 200 exhibitors, this two day event will not only showcase what is new in the natural resource extraction industry, it will also share information on matters of health and safety as well as open the doors for those looking for work.
Those who are interested in hooking up with a company in the resource sector are encouraged to bring along a resume and watch for the booths that have a “Recruiting Here” sign.
There are several seminars set for each day, the topics include:
· health and wellness,
· safety,
· carbon offsets,
· resource road legislation,
· FIRST Logger Training
Then of course, there is the big iron and some of it be in action. Actual working machinery will dig, drill, lift, carry, chip, break bore, push and cut just as they would on an actual worksite.
