Smartphone Theft Investigation Turns to Public for Help

Prince George, B.C. – RCMP in Prince George are hoping the public can help them identify three suspects believed responsible for the theft of a number of smart phones from a local business.
 
On May 18th, 2013, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a theft of 16 smart phones from a local retailer on 15th Avenue in Prince George. The theft occurred during the evening of Friday May 17th.
 
After reviewing surveillance footage from the business, investigators believe  three people are responsible for the theft. One person distracted staff while two others entered a storage room and removed the phones. 
 
Items stolen:
·      2 white Samsung Galaxy S4 phones
·      2 black Samsung Galaxy S4 phones
·      2 black iPhone 5 16 Gb phones
·      3 white iPhone 5 16 Gb phones
·      3 black iPhone 5 32 Gb phones
·      2 white iPhone 5 32 Gb phones
·      2 Blackberry Q10 phones
 
Total value of the stolen items is $13,388.
 
Investigators have been unable to identify the suspects and do not believe they are from the Prince George area. This was a well planned and brazen theft carried out by persons who likely have committed similar offences in other communities. Prince George RCMP are in the process of contacting other Detachments and municipal police forces throughout BC and Alberta in hopes of identifying the suspects. In addition, investigators would also like to speak to anyone who might be able to identify these suspects or provide more information.
 

The first suspect is described as:

·      Male of African descent
·      35 to 45 years old
·      Average height
·      180 to 190 lbs
·      Short dark hair and facial stubble
·      Wearing a grey zip up ‘Under Armor’ sweater and a black Toronto Blue Jays ball cap
 
The second suspect is described as:
 
·      Caucasian female
·      40 to 50 years old
·      Below average height
·      Long red hair
·      Wearing a purple patterned top and a black sweater.
 
The third suspect is described as:
·      Male of African descent
·      30 to 40 years old
·      Average height
·      170 to 180 lbs
·      Short dark hair, mustache and goatee
·      Wearing a light coloured v-neck t-shirt

The suspects descriptions are mixed up. Or the text below the picture is mixed up. When reading the descriptions, the first suspect described is labelled suspect 3 in the pictures, not suspect 1.

Who cares shot them or hang them up downtown a toss rocks untill they wont ever do it again

They should have just signed a contract and got the phones for free!
