Training Exercise at YXS May Cause Smoke

Prince George, B.C.- Fire training exercise at the Prince George Airport could mean the public will see thick black smoke coming from the area of the Airport.
 
Not to worry.
 
The exercise, taking place today from 1:00-3:00 is taking place in a self contained training facility and there is no threat to the public or surrounding areas.
 
Similar exercises are set for June 25th and 27th between 2 and 4 p.m.

why thick black smoke? doesn’t sound that safe, what the heck are they going to burn
