15 Year Old Faces Charges Of Armed Robbery In Quesnel

Quesnel- A 15 year old male is in custody following an armed robbery of a convenience store in Quesnel shortly before 1 am. today.
Police received a 911 call that an armed robbery was in progress at the convenience store . Police say a teen walked into the store, produced a can of bear spray, and demanded money. He then fled on foot.
RCMP were able to identify the youth from the store’s surveillance footage and a suspect was taken into custody in less than an hour, following the robbery.
Police are recommending charges of armed robbery and use of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Give him a little shot of bear spray in the eyes. Then let him go. Nothing will happen to him anyway.

Years ago for armed robbery you got 12 years and 10 strokes of the paddle. We should go back to that system!
