Charges Laid in Theft Ring Case

Prince George, B.C. – Formal charges have now been laid agianst one man in connection with a stolen property case 250News first told you about in mid May.
As part of an on-going investigation in early May , members of the Prince George RCMP’s Crime Reduction Team arrested two men and recovered stolen property believed to be valued at in excess of $200,000. Items recovered included two jet boats, a skid steer tractor and a mini excavator. (click here for our original story)
Nine charges have now been approved by Provincial Crown Counsel against 31 year old Prince George resident Jeremy Matthew Kostyshyn. Those charges are:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 (6 Counts)
- Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 (3 counts)
Kostyshyn is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on Wednesday July 10th, 2013.
The investigation into a second suspect, is continuing.
