Prince George, B.C.- The two Surrey residents accused of being involved in a plot to set off bombs on the grounds of the B.C. Legislature are to appear in court again today.
38 year old John Nuttall and 30 year old Amanda Marie Korody are accused in the plot that would have had pressure cooker bombs go off on the grounds of the legislature on Canada Day.
The news of the plot and the arrests caught most Canadians by surprise, but we wanted to know your thoughts. Were you surprised to hear of a home grown terror plot in B.C.?
According to our unscientific survey, 38% of those who responded said yes, they were surprised, while 62% said they were not surprised.
