Prince George, BC – A vehicle incident has closed Highway 97, four-kilometres south of 100 Mile House.

Few details are available at this time.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure advises motorists that a detour is available to single lane alternating traffic via Waulke Road.

An assessment on when the highway will re-open is underway, an update will be provided at 7pm.
