Quesnel, B.C.- One person is dead following a single vehicle crash on Highway 97, north of Red Bluff Road, near Quesnel.

 

RCMP say  early yesterday, the northbound vehicle left the highway , rolled and came to rest on its roof. The driver was pinned in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Witnesses have told police the vehicle had been swerving, prior to the crash.

 

The driver was the sole occupant in the vehicle.   No name has been released.

 

While the crash remains under investigation, alcohol  does not appear to have been a factor.
