Quesnel, B.C.- Billy Barker Days are here!

 

With official opening ceremonies this evening at LeBourdais Park at 6, the park will be the main focal point for much of the activity.

 

Throughout the weekend there will be Stage entertainment at LeBourdais Park while  other events include,  Legion Pancake breakfasts Saturday and Sunday,  a  midway, a Big Rig Show and Shine, the Billy Barker Dance, a parade on Saturday morning, ( click here for new parade route) and fireworks set for Sunday night .

 

You are reminded there will be lots of police presence throughout  Billy Barker Days. Additional police resources will be targeting liquor related offences including open liquor in public, impaired driving and public intoxication. There will be zero tolerance for liquor related offences.

 

Police road checks will be in place at various times throughout the Quesnel area this weekend. These checks will be aimed at impaired driving, distracted driving and seat belt use.
