Terrace, B.C. – RCMP have confirmed that a death of a man in Terrace this week was a homicide, but investigators haven’t been able to determine much more.
Mounties say the victim is Caucasian and thought to be in his 20s, but RCMP are still trying to conclusively identify him and how he died. The man was found on the front porch of a home on the city’s south side early Tuesday suffering from what police have called “significant trauma”.
A post mortem medical examination is scheduled to be complete by Monday July 29th with the hope of conclusively determining the cause of death.
The scene is still cordoned off by RCMP and investigators from the Forensic Identification Section expect to remain there for several days so that they can complete their examination of the site.
RCMP are appealing for anyone with information about the death to contact them or Crimestoppers.
