New Charges Against WL Truck Driver For Alleged Violent Offences Against Women
Prince George, BC – New charges have been laid against a commercial truck driver from Williams Lake who was charged in connection with a forcible confinement incident in Smithers earlier this year.
In April, an RCMP Dispatcher’s team helped Smithers officers locate a 26-year-old woman who was being held against her will in a transport truck. Several charges, including forcible confinement and assault, were laid against 24-year-old Robert Fagg of Williams Lake.
RCMP Media Relations Officer, Corporal Dan Moskaluk, says seven new charges have now been laid against Fagg in connection with three different female victims who had been in a relationship with Fagg over a five-year period from 2007 to 2012. Included in the charges are two counts of sexual assault, three counts of assault, one count of forcible confinement and a charge of break and enter.
Corporal Moskaluk says Fagg was arrested this past Monday in Quesnel and appeared in court on Tuesday. He was remanded in custody until his next court appearance in Williams Lake on July 31st.
