Cougars Get Boost In Fundraising Effort
Prince George, BC – The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club have announced the title sponsor for their 2nd Annual Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament next month.
Last year, the club raised more than $25-thousand dollars for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation and Cougars Vice President, Brandi Brodsky, says this year’s goal is $30-thousand.
The Northland Auto Group has signed on to help that effort. Brodsky says the partnership is a huge boost towards reaching that goal. "We are confident that we will meet that target and, with a month to go, we are hopeful that we will be able to exceed that number."
She’s hopeful many sponsors and golfers who were part of the Northland Auto Group’s Healthy Kids Golf Invitational in previous years will jump onto the links on August 15th and 16th.
