Prince George, B.C. – This is a big weekend for the folks out at the Ness Lake Bible Camp.
The camp, which provides summer activities for youngsters of all faiths, hosted its very first group of kids in August 1953 and marks its 60th birthday this year. The festivities take place Sunday afternoon and the celebration is wide open to everyone who would like to attend. It all gets underway at 1pm tomorrow with an open house which will feature some of the former and current camp directors reminiscing about the history of the facility.
Visitors will also be able to have fun using the camp’s zipline, giant lake blob, rope swing and other activities. There’s a barbeque planned for about 5:30 Sunday afternoon and the day will be wrapped up by an evening chapel service.
