Prince George, B.C. – Residents and travelers in the Prince George area should take note of a weather advisory issued late this afternoon.
Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the immediate Prince George area. The weather forecast is as follows:

- Partly cloudy. 40 percent chance of showers this evening with risk of a severe thunderstorm. Low 12.
- Saturday
- A mix of sun and cloud. 30 percent chance of showers late in the afternoon with risk of a thunderstorm. High 27. UV index 6 or high.
- Saturday night
- Partly cloudy with 30 percent chance of showers and risk of a thunderstorm. Low 12.
- Sunday
- A mix of sun and cloud with 40 percent chance of showers. High 27.
- Monday
- Sunny. Low 12. High 28.
