Missing Woman’s Body Located South of Prince George

Prince George, B.C. – The body of a woman reported missing south of Prince George earlier this week has been found.
46-year-old Leslie Anne Pocha was last seen in Stoner on Wednesday and was reported
missing to police the following
day. At the time Prince George RCMP said they did not believe the missing woman was in possession of a vehicle. They issued a description of Leslie Anne Pocha and described the clothing she was wearing when last seen and requested the public’s assistance in trying to locate her.

North District RCMP Media Relations spokesperson Constable Lesley Smith tells 250 News that friends and relatives of Leslie Pocha located the woman’s body in Stone Creek at 6:30 Friday evening. However she could not say whether the location was in the vicinity of Stoner or downstream.
Cst Smith says there is no foul play or criminality involved, and the case is now being handled by the B.C. Coroner’s Service.
