Collision Closes Highway 97 Near Fort St John

Fort St. John, B.C. – A motor vehicle collision has shut down Highway 97 north in both direction, 2 kilometres south of Fort St. John.
The number and types of vehicles involved are not known. Traffic is being detoured around the accident scene, but Drive BC indicates Highway 97 won’t be open to even single-lane traffic until 5pm at the earliest.

Three km backup on TransCanada highway just west of Chilliwack last night. Stop and go traffic with an average speed of less than 10kph.
Reason? Police pulled a driver over to the shoulder for an undetermined reason.
