Fort, St John, B.C.- Traffic is moving once again along highway 97   about 2kms south of Fort St. John.

 

Earlier today,  the highway was closed between 86^th Street and Swanson Lumber Road because of a collision involving a motorcycle and a tractor trailer unit.

 

The motorcyclist was seriously injured and although initially sent to Ft John Hospital, it was expected he would be airlifted to another facility.

 

The cause of the crash has not yet been revealed.

 

RCMP continue to investigate.
